Windtal is the artistic persona through which Jakob Vasak channels his creative expression. Combining electro-acoustic textures and innovative sound design Windtal crafts emotive compositions that transport audiences on a journey of introspection and connection.
Impermanence takes us on a journey through the impermanence and transience of life. Incorporating field recordings captured in Iceland, Windtal intertwines them with repurposed instruments to craft a dense composition, the contrast of which reflects the instability a life amidst change and uncertainty, an endeavor to find an inner home in constant flux.

Comprising fragments of sound material from the artist's immediate surroundings, including room recordings during intimate conversations, field recordings of personally meaningful places, and intentionally awkward and fragile instrument playing "Second Connection" represents the discovery of a fresh perspective on personal experiences.
